Based on weather conditions or time of day, you should expect the following travel times into the city from the area's airports: Newark airport (30 minutes); JFK airport (25 minutes) and LaGuardia airport (20 minutes). The total cost depends on the distance traveled and time spent in the cab. Taxi drivers are usually given a 15% gratuity on top of the final metered fare.
